Lower Hutt School Holidays Beginner Crochet Class 10am - 11:30am 

Ages 9 years upwards (it is a big room so you are welcome to stay with your child if they prefer, but would just ask that you sit off to the side).

Learn the very basics of crochet, how to hold a hook and yarn, slip knot, chain stitch and single crochet stitch. We will then make a washcloth/makeup remover cloth with some soft chunky yarn. 

If you have already completed a beginner class with me or are comfortable doing a single crochet stitch you can use this class to move onto making a crochet bird which teaches you how to crochet in a circle. 

Yarn and pattern will be supplied first this class but you will need to bring along a 6mm crochet hook. These are available from Spotlight, Knit World or the Warehouse. 

There are no refunds on classes unless I have to cancel the whole event. But if you are sick and unable to make it I can give you a credit for a future class to be used within 60 days.
