Over the last couple of months I have made a few meditation cushions there has been lots of questions about how these were made and if there will be a pattern.
I actually found a tutorial on YouTube for the Lotus flower granny square by Sisters in Stitch they also have a pdf version on their website. I would rate this pattern as advanced, it uses lots of different stitches and working on multiple rows at a time. But if you are good with following video instructions it may be worth a go.
The pattern is for a square so I adapted it to be a circle at the rows where you would normally start adding corners. I used a 3.5mm crochet hook and cotton yarn, the inner is made by my mum with fabric and polyester stuffing.
I have sold a few of these and as you can see from my website they are priced pretty high. The price is set for the amount of hours that goes into one cushion it takes me about 3-4 weeks in my spare time between teaching classes. I like to think of them as purchasing an art piece where each one will be unique.
