This pattern has been designed to be used to teach kids that have never done crochet before. It only uses the chain, single crochet stitch and a double crochet stitch on the ears. I have taught this class a few times now it has taken the kids about 2 1/4 hours to finish. You will need at least 45 min for them  to add eyes, nose etc and stuff. So a few kids I have needed to help finish their crochet if they are really slow so we can get to this point together. 

A few of the older kids have managed to single crochet up the sides joining the work but some I have had to do this step and ears for them. 

Requires a 6mm crochet hook and 40m of chunky chenille yarn.
